Guides for old family photos
How to animate, restore, scan and share the photos in your family’s albums, with clear steps, sources and dates.
See an old photo move
MemoriApp turns a portrait into a 6-second video with gentle, natural movement. Upload a photo, wait a few minutes, then download the video or add it to an album with music.
Animating photos
What an animated photo looks like
Demo clips from the MemoriApp home page. The movement is made by AI, so it is an imagined moment, not a recording.
How MemoriApp works
- 1
Upload a portrait
A JPG or PNG up to 20 MB, in colour or black and white. A good phone photo of a print works.
- 2
Wait a few minutes
The AI adds slow, natural movement and makes a 6-second video.
- 3
Download or build an album
Keep the video, or put several in order with a music track and download one album to share.
Questions about MemoriApp
Is MemoriApp free?
A new account gets one free video, with a watermark. More videos need credits, and buying credits also removes the watermark from videos you already made. The pricing section on the main site shows the current packs.
Do I need to install anything?
No. MemoriApp is a website, so it runs in the browser on a phone or computer. You do need a free account, by email or Google.
Does it restore or colorize photos?
No. It adds movement to the photo you upload. If a photo is torn or faded, restore it first: the guides on this site explain how.
Who writes these guides?
The MemoriApp team, with the help of AI, from primary sources. Each guide lists its sources and dates. The About page explains how we work.
Try it on one of your own photos
Upload a portrait and see it move in a few minutes. Your first video is free, with a watermark.
